Nik follows Granny's advice and raises her own kids instead of getting a surrogate like everyone else does. Nik knows that this goes against the advice of the rest of the world, so she remains as up to date as possible on all things ecclesiastical and political. Strangely enough this often involves reading the oldest materials available.

Nik is Granny's favorite thug because her lifestyle requires the most sacrifice and is most obviously against the grain.

Qualifications: Nik practices what she preaches. More than likely that is more than you do.

Al is a little too full of himself. Granny doesn't mind this, but that's why this list is in reverse alphabetical order. She just didn't know how he would react to seeing his name first. If you like anything Al does here, keep it to yourself. Encouragement will only ruin him. If you can intellectually or emotionally savage him, then please do so. He needs it. Granny does so whenever possible but still needs your help to keep him in his place.

Granny is confident that you will read Al's writings and agree with him. She still says that it is ok if you wish for a better champion of your thoughts than this egomaniac.

Qualifications: Al once got a C in Poly Sci 101 at a public university.
